How to access a defibrillator

In an emergency please contact the emergency services on 999 and ask for ambulance where the operator will tell you the location of the nearest active unit and give you the access code.

Once accessed the management of that unit will automatically be informed by the ambulance service, that the unit has been accessed and if it has been used so that they can replace the pads.

Once used it is important to return the unit to where you accessed it so that essential maintenance can be done to get the defibrillator back on the circuit and active for further emergencies.
