Mayor's Charity Cheque Presentation 2025 to 2026
During the Civic year of 2025 to 2026 Mayor Councillor Angela Walker and her Consort Graham Walker raised over £6,000 for their two chosen local charities – https://newpasturelanecommunitycentre.uk/ who work tirelessly to support local people in food poverty and www.mndassociation.org who provide support and enrichment for those living with Motoneuron Disease Each receiving £3,000. In addition to this as their target was smashed Cllr Angela and Graham also donated sums to the Spotlight Theatre and harboursidetheatregroup.co.uk for all their hard work within the community.
