The Bridlington Neighbourhood Area was formally designated by East Riding of Yorkshire Council on 27 February 2024. This marked an important step in the development of a Neighbourhood Plan for the town.
Bridlington Town Council is now working with consultants Design Yorkshire to do some initial work on developing a Neighbourhood Plan for Bridlington.
A Neighbourhood Plan sets out policies that relate to the development and used of land in a defined area. It can look at things like housing, heritage and conservation, green spaces and the natural environment, transport, community facilities, leisure and recreation, and the local economy.
Neighbourhood Plans are community-led and we want ours to reflect your aspirations about what we want our town to be like.
Your views matter – have your say!
